About TradeFlex

Making it easier to find a good local tradesman

TradeFlex is a small Cape Town project with a simple idea: tell us what you need once, and we’ll connect you with local businesses that do the job.

Why we started

Finding someone reliable for a burst geyser, a leaking roof or a car that won’t start usually means scrolling, phoning a list of numbers and repeating the same story over and over, often while the problem is getting worse.

On the other side, plenty of good local trade businesses don’t have the time or budget to compete for attention online. They’re busy doing the work.

TradeFlex sits in the middle. You describe the job once. We pass it to businesses that do that work in your area. They contact you directly.

Where we’re at

We’re just launching. We’re onboarding local businesses now, starting with plumbers, roofers, solar installers, electricians and mechanics in Cape Town, the Northern Suburbs, the Winelands and the West Coast. Every request is handled by a real person.

We won’t pretend to be bigger than we are, and we won’t post made-up reviews or numbers. As businesses join and jobs get done, we’ll share what we learn.

Who’s behind it

TradeFlex is a project by DreamCorp, a Cape Town web studio that builds websites for local businesses.

What we believe

  1. Your details are yours. They go only to businesses we match you with.

  2. Local businesses deserve a fair shot at local work.

  3. Honesty beats hype. No fake reviews, no inflated numbers.

  4. Keep it simple: WhatsApp and a short form, not another app to download.

Say hello. WhatsApp 068 368 4705 or email hello@dreamcorp.co.za.
