Mechanics: common questions

Q.01Can a mechanic come to me?

Some do. Mention “mobile” in your job description and we’ll look for mechanics who work on site.

Q.02What details should I include?

Make, model, year, rough mileage, what’s wrong and when it started. Photos of warning lights help too.

Q.03Can a mechanic help with a roadworthy?

Roadworthy certificates are issued by testing stations, but a mechanic can check your car beforehand and fix anything that might fail.

Q.04Is it free to ask?

Yes. Requesting a match is free. You only pay the mechanic for work you agree to.
